It gives just the right amount of sparkle without being too obvious. It's very dainty, but not delicate. It is forever getting caught on my wrist or bracelet to the point of causing my neck to jerk from pulling the necklace by accident. I do this EVERY time I wear it - my fault for getting the 36"! The only thing that bothers me is that the little round gemstones are not flush on both sides of the metal circle. It comes to a pointed pyramid on one side of the stone, therefore making the stone more like a cone, not a circle. However, because they are so tiny, no one will ever notice - it just becomes slightly annoying if you are playing with it :)
